🚨Zoe Garbett elected Mayor of Hackney 🎉

This must be a wake up call to Labour, losing in one of its historic strongholds.

Communities desperately want a hopeful alternative to the status quo. Yesterday in Hackney, they voted for it.

The polls are nearly closed! We’re so incredibly proud of our movement for showing up to make a real change in these elections through organising. We’ve been in communities and knocking doors for months all across England, Scotland and Wales to elect hope, and beat out hate. Shout out to every single person who took action!

We’ve had a massive 115K people using My Election Map to find the best canvassing events for them. We trained hundreds of people to canvass for the first time, and knocked thousands of doors in target constituencies to elect progressives. We’ve disrupted Reform time and time again, and held Labour’s feet to the fire because we all deserve so much better than this current government. Full of love and pride for all of our incredible organisers ❤️
