Smoke and mirrors - A bit of behind the scenes of our creative process. This mirror installation was filmed using a combination of techniques. We used a DSLR camera mounted on a motorised slide track to capture the footage, create match moves, and also employed different lighting techniques to enhance the visual impact. Slide 4 shows the basic setup.

Last summer we had the pleasure working with and . We created and toured bespoke lightboxes, which were positioned around the stage amongst the musicians. The idea was to light the players and provide visual accompaniment without distracting from the performance itself. The lightboxes became another member of the orchestra

So much came from this trip around Japan, notably a 10+ year collaboration with LFO which came to it's untimely end upon Mark's passing in 2014. Going through these boxes of keepsakes is often bittersweet but sometimes it's good to remind ourselves of the past times and how far we've come. Also shout-out to fellow visual don who provided excellent company and at times much needed guardianship on many of these tours! Also and who kept the train on the tracks 🙏
