We are two qualified teachers excited to bring to the Mitcham community our tuition services. All sessions are pre-bookable.
We are offering small private tuition in a small group setting covering KS1 and KS2 Numeracy and Literacy.
Here is an overview of our content offered in our group tuition classes. All sessions will be offered to KS1 and KS2 both in Literacy and Numeracy and will be aligned to the National Curriculum.
Every child will be initially assessed as this will enable the tutors at Enjoy Learning to establish existing knowledge as well as areas of focus. This will give us the opportunity to plan and tailor lessons to the needs of the children.
In all our lessons, as tutors, we will be working towards enhancing their learning and to instil a love of learning.
In numeracy we will encourage children to develop their thinking skills as well as building up their confidence in becoming fluent in the fundamentals of mathematics. We aim through our sessions for children to develop conceptual understanding and the ability to recall and apply knowledge rapidly and accurately. Children will build confidence in being able to reason mathematically as well as become fluent in the mathematical language. Children will develop the skills to break down word problems into a series of simpler steps.
In literacy we aim to promote high standards of language in equipping children with a strong command of spoken and written language. Sessions will be a combination of writing tasks, comprehensions, spelling and grammar. A high quality of education in English will teach children to write fluently so that they can communicate their ideas and emotions to others.

My name is Sara Osman. I am a qualified, experienced primary school teacher of 8 years. I am also a modern foreign language specialist. I grew up bilingual in Italian and went on to study French and Spanish at University to later complete a primary PGCE with an additional modern foreign language specialism. My experience consists of teaching predominantly in Years 3 and 4, with completion of my NQT in Year 3. I have also done extensive supply teaching and PPA cover across all year groups. I also have experience of teaching small groups of EAL students. I have also provided Private tuition for the last two years in Literacy, Numeracy and Modern Foreign Languages.
My name is Nadine Mirza. I have accumulated 15 years teaching experience. I began my teaching experience in 2003 after a career change. I went on to begin my Graduate Teacher training (GTP) and obtained QTS after completing my NQT in Year 5. I have taught both mixed year groups and across KS1 and KS2. I have also been offering SATS tuition and 11 plus preparation to primary age students on a one to one basis. For the last three years, I have been working as an intervention/booster group teacher delivering the Mastery curriculum for Year 2.
