Volkswagen announce 20 million electric vehicles will be launched over the next 5 years. If you’ve not driven an EV I strongly suggest you try it. I had a BMW i3 for a year after a Range Rover sport (which I loved) but 2 weeks after driving the EV I was totally sold on electric cars.

I can hear you all saying you’re not sure, you’re cynical, what about running out of electricity, where do you charge it, there’s no chargers in my area etc

I had all these fears at first but after a short period of change I was disappointed to accept my company diesel car, I wasn’t happy at all, even though the car given to me was brand new it was like going backwards and my fuel costs jumped from £10 per month to £600 per month. (no exaggeration !!)

Electric cars are 15-20% bigger inside because they don’t have an engine, the BMW i3 I had looked tiny when I got it but was astonished when I got it how much space I had. I’m 6ft tall, I could put my seat all the way back and have my sons car seat behind and still have plenty of space...
