This weekend, I put out a new Donor Lens album with my co-conspirator Jay. It's been several years in the making and it's called Rose Room 🌹.

14 tracks of electronic music inspired by video game music of the PlayStation/Dreamcast era, as well as the janky early days of virtual reality.

Dancey bits, ambient stretches, experimental stuff and some pop songs. Collaborations with some UK, Japanese and American artists. Give it a whirl if your interest is piqued 🌀

Expect trance and breakbeat bangers from classic games such as XG, Burnout and Mary-Kate and Ashley: Winner's Circle lol.

Posting a professional pic on main because I'm going back to work after a (blissful, challenging!) Summer as a full time dad.

It's been eye-opening being a bloke in mum-dominated spaces like classes/playgroups, and it grated a little being congratulated for things that society simply expects of mothers. Shout out and all the other fantastic mums out there.

It is sad that more dads don't get to experience extended time like this with their young kids (a perk/quirk of me being self-employed, but also really wanting to do this). Hopefully it is becoming more common and less of a novelty.

Little man is starting nursery and I'm going back to work. Really don't fancy too many long commutes and longer teaching hours, so I'm taking on more work from my home studio. Hit me up with any proposals/commissions. I can produce or compose for your video project, mix, master, edit your podcast etc. etc.
