Happy Norouz to all my family and friends. This year’s quiet celebrations are filled with hope, sadness and reflection. It’s always darkest before the dawn. May light triumph over darkness once and for all 🌎 ❤️🩹
Praying. For a free Iran. For an iran where all women can sing like me in the studio and on stage. Can be free to make their own choices like the queens they are. Where people can live a life free from the chains of oppression, imprisonment, torture and death. No more negotiating with the criminals occupying our beloved country. 💚🤍❤️
It’s not too late to take action against this humanitarian crisis. I wrote Sons and Daughters in 2011 when Iran should have been given back to her people and even that message was old for its time. Nearly 50 years of cruelty, suffering and diaspora. Enough is enough. Speak up for the millions who have been silenced through violence, hardship and a complete internet blackout. Give them the dignity of choosing what is right for their country by exercising your rights in yours. You know what to do.

This incredibly talented florist and goddess delivered me a gorgeous and unexpectedly beautiful surprise. Please go and visit her magical shop in This year has been overshadowed by a tragedy for our family personally. Thank you Jen for reminding me I have a birthday and a blessed vessel of life still to celebrate. As Max used to say - you never know what you’ve got ‘til it’s gone. 🩷🩷🩷
