Hiya all its Lisa posting my first post for Charlie's Bar,so.....
Hi..😁

Over the last week, I have made the decision to leave Charlie’s due to an unexpected work opportunity that has come up outside of the Wine Bar.

It feels very surreal after being in the family for 16 years and with me for almost 6 years but the time is right and you only live once!

Thank you for all of the memories, the mad parties, the late nights (and early mornings) and for all of your support and custom over the years. Thank you to all of the staff that have worked with us over the years and thank you to all the team at the Red House for their understanding of my decision.

The end of an era will be tomorrow with a new manager and completely new team starting from this Thursday.

I wish them all the very best of luck but I know they won’t need it!

It’s been seven very long months but we are delighted to tell you that we will be reopening on Monday 17th May at 10am🍻🍻

We are looking forward to welcoming you back and have lots planned over the summer months so please do keep an eye on our posts 🎉🎉

Just to let you know that we do not plan on reopening in April (our outdoor area is too small!) We will hopefully reopen in May (government guidelines permitting) and have both indoor and outdoor seating👍

We will let you know the reopening date nearer the time.

We will remain closed during the first two weeks of ‘Tier 2’ and once government have reviewed the tier system on the 16th, we will go from there.
