25 years of Booo!

What started as a dubplate became something much bigger than I could have imagined.

It was promoted through the label Social Circles and, within 8 months, had created a bidding war between three labels before being released on FFRR (founded by Pete Tong MBE). The track went on to peak at No. 12 in the Official Charts and No. 1 in the Dance Charts.

It was a crazy time.

Hearing Booo! being blasted from cars was a moment I will never forget. That was when I realised the record had gone beyond the studio, beyond the clubs, and into people’s lives.

This track means a lot to me. Working with the amazing and talented Ms. Dynamite was a real pleasure and an honour, and I’m proud of what we made together.

Thank you to everyone who supported Booo! from the beginning, and to everyone still showing it love 25 years later.
