I have roughly ten thousand tattoo photos I haven't posted and my phone has run out of storage so I guess I'll have to start actually uploading them

good news though - this time I've decided I'm just going to be a consistent person who has a good grip on time and performs tasks to a regular schedule. despite several decades of evidence to the contrary I'm feeling hopeful gang, this time the algorithm will finally be proud of me 🤞

we'd originally said roughly 15cm for this piece and ended up going nearly double that, and I'm sooo glad we were able to - if there are lots of tiny details it's always better to give it more breathing room

it's helpful to be precise with the estimated measurements on your form but it's also important to be flexible, depending on the design. if the available space is very fixed (eg. hemmed in by existing tattoos) it's always useful to include that info when booking - designs can always be adapted, they might just need to be simpler for smaller spaces 🖤

really enjoyed this custom project, loved tattooing the neogoth / cybersigilism shapes and textures - thanks for your trust and for sitting like a rock for your first (!?) tattoo! you fared much better better than me 😅🖤🦇

customs are exciting to me because I love collaborating and trying to bring someone's idea to life - translating their thoughts into a physical permanent mark on skin still feels like magic to me

I also really enjoy exploring different styles in both drawing and tattooing - no idea too strange, I won't decline a project unless I think I can't do a great job (in which case I'll try and recommend more suitable artists) so slide into my emails to chat about your next project!

something like this works best if we can chat in person in a free consultation (link above) and we can both ask lots of questions quickly rather than sending many emails. something of this size and complexity is doable in a day session, but as always it depends on your pain tolerance - there's no shame in booking multiple smaller sessions if thats what your body needs 🖤

Slimelight - Bodyart celebrates the culture of tattoos and body art the only way we know how: with our usual mix of alternative music, dark style, creativity and rebellion.

Whether you're covered in ink, planning your first tattoo, or simply appreciate the art form, this night is for you.

To celebrate National Tattoo Day, we're teaming up with the highly respected Parliament Tattoo Studio for a special live tattoo session at Slimelight. 🖤

Artist will be tattooing throughout the night with an exclusive sheet of gothic flash designs created especially for the event. Flash tattoos start from £60 and are available on a first come, first served basis.

To mark the occasion, we're also giving you the chance to win some fantastic prizes.
