As a continuation of our celebration of International Women’s Month, we are highlighting one of our incredible Female Art Directors, Lyndsey Salah, who has been with the company for over 20 years. Lyndsey is a real inspiration to us all at Image Source, she has a true passion for what she does, and her creativity and knowledge is something we feel very lucky to be amongst. Here is what she had to say:

“I’m Lyndsey Salah, Head of Content at the Image Source group. I’ve worked in stock photography for over 23 years and I’ve been lucky enough to travel all over the world shooting stock content, and have worked with some amazing photographers. A standout moment of my career recently has been creating a collection of over 20,000 new inclusive stock images and having the opportunity to work with more women creatives. Throughout my career at Image Source I’ve always worked with women in senior positions whether that was a Creative Director or CEO which has been a great inspiration for me”.

Bedazzled is a women owned, American book publishing company. Started in 2004, by Claudia Wilde she decided that the only way to find books that she liked to read was to publish them. Their mission is to celebrate the unique and underrepresented voices of women and books about women that appeals to all readers. In 2015 Bedazzledink expanded and created Gus-Gus Press which is devoted to poetry, short stories and novellas.

F***y Miller is the founder of El Latino, which is a Spanish newspaper publishers. El Latino is the largest Spanish language newspaper owned by a Latina in California. With more than 806,0000 monthly readers, the newspapers aim is to serve the news and information needs of San Diego to the Hispanic community. Alongside this, Franny is also serving as the president for National Association of Hispanic Publications and is a a board member for the Local Media Consortium.

Alessandra Galloni is the editor- in- Chief at Reuters. Reuters is the worlds largest multimedia news provider. Before becoming an editor- in- chief Alessandra was the global managing editor. She was responsible for overseeing the news planning and creation, the global dimensions of Reuters coverage and developing stories with a cross-regional focus. After becoming an editor- in- chief in April 2021, she now oversees all editorial functions across video, text, pictures, and graphics. She is the first female editor-in-chief in the organization’s 170-year history.

Bozoma focuses on driving marketing efforts across Endeavor’s growing global network of companies, including Endeavor Global Marketing clients and premium brands.

Kanya King is the founder and CEO OF the MOBO (Music Of Black Origin ) awards, established to appreciate music from black backgrounds. The MOBO awards was created to celebrate and recognise the outstanding achievements of artists who perform music in genres such as Gospel, Jazz, RnB, Soul, Reggae and Hip Hop. With this Kanya hopes it will create a more diverse and inclusive world.

Skiin Cosmetics () is an UK, independent, female, black-owned cosmetics business. Created by Amber, who is a Makeup Artist. With a passionate for makeup she decided to follow her dream and start her own business. Skiin Cosmetics aspire to reach everybody worldwide, regardless of individual differences. They view cosmetics as feel food products for everybody, regarding of their race, sexuality, gender and ability! Complex creative is a women owned creative agency in London. The company first started as a small business in 2008 by Sabrina, in 2013 after an increased demand, Sabrina turned it into a creative agency. As well as being a women owned business they are proud to also be voted the ’Number 1 minority- owned creative agency in the world’. Some of their clients include; Fitbit, NHS, Unicef and etc. Their mission is to raise the game of creative agencies in London and around the world, by continually going above and beyond for clients, being consistently open and honest and providing value wherever they can.

Tenshey is a Tech- Enabled Startup with a mission to advance diversity and leadership development through executive coaching. Their vision is to achieve equality and inclusion in the workplace by empowering leaders of all backgrounds through executive & career coaching and leadership development.
Founded by Maggie Chan Jones, she is the first female CMO of SAP and is named one of the worlds most influential CMO’S by Forbes.
