LSESU Creative Network

Hello creatives of LSE! This week the Creative Network has an abundance of creative outlets and celebrations to share for ARTS WEEK ⭐️⭐️🤯🤯

⭐️TICKETS TO ALL EVENTS TO BE FOUND IN THE INSTAGRAM BIO OF RESPECTIVE SOCIETY⭐️

Most event offers on the door tickets, with some accepting donation or are free of charge (Tuesday ;)) !

⭐️Monday: we rest, preparing for the week of merriment ahead

⭐️Tuesday 13TH : The Creative Network are hosting a poetry into posters event where we will taken the written word and turn it into visual art! It will be a group project, on a large canvas to decorate the Media Centre with :DDD

⭐️Wednesday 14th: and are hosting a letter writing event for affected Palestinians and their many allies! The creative network are very happy to promote this event as part LSESU arts week, as this event demonstrates creativity as both political and emotional tools which we can use to better understand what is happening in Gaza.

⭐️Thursday 15th have invited to speak in our lecture theatre in the Centre Building. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for students and staff to engage with a practising artist and source inspiration from Wolfgang’s work ✨✨

⭐️Friday 16th: .lsesu .rag _ are hosting a cross-collegiate, collaborative black tie Film Festival in The Venue (underneath the SU building). This is the most elaborate event of Arts Week and should be a true spectacle!

⭐️ Hello all! We have huge news to share! TICKETS ON SALE NOW! - find them in RAG bio and on QR link !

Our good friends over at RAG are putting together a fashion show next week in the SU Venue and the ground floor of the Marshall building. All work shown will be product of the students!

Anticipate surrealism, couture, sustainability and creativity - playing with themes both natural and phenomenal and indulging in multi sensory experience!

It’s going to be a lot of fun, and very elaborate - which are two of our favourite things x

🌟 The plan is to make this a bi-termly event and to print a zine with everyone’s work at the end of the year!

🌟 This Thursday before the play starts! Poetry and sketching workshop, feel free to bring objects you find special and think would be interesting prompts!

🌟 After we feel happy and ready we can share what we’ve written and maybe bring finished poems for the open mic :)

🌟 Introducing the Creative Network Executive board! By which we mean, a lovely group of people who care a lot about creativity on campus!

🌟The 23 societies within the Creative Network are split into three channels: Creative, Media and Careers - Jemima, Stella and Uriel are responsible for looking after each route respectively.
