One of the largest and most successful rowing clubs in the UK Founded in 1860, Thames Rowing Club is based on the Putney Embankment in Southwest London.
Catering for all, from juniors to veterans, from novices to internationals, Thames is currently one of the largest and most successful rowing clubs in the United Kingdom. We like to think we are also one of the friendliest. Tweet us @ThamesRC

Reliving Henley over and over.
This year, Thames raced 116 athletes at HRR, qualified 100% of our crews, saw 42 athletes in finals, and secured 3 trophies.
The club earned the 20th win in the Wyfold, the 17th win in the Thames Cup, and the 4th win of 6 editions in the Wargrave (while also fielding a historic Thames v Thames final.)
Since 2021, 100 Thames athletes have earned a red box.
