Yesterday we took full advantage of one of the first sunny days in London and officially kicked off the summer season with a team BBQ.

As an Aussie-run company, it was only right that the Aussies took charge of the grill, showing everyone how it’s done back home 🇦🇺

Great food, a few cold beers, and even better company made it the perfect chance for the team to get together, reconnect, and enjoy some well-earned downtime.

Moments like these are what make our culture what it is ☀️

When Amnesty International partnered with buildgen at their new UK headquarters, the vision was centred on Inclusivity, Sustainability and People.

♻️ Sustainability: materials and furniture were reused from multiple offices, with existing carpet tiles, glazing and fittings retained. Nearly 100 workstations were upcycled, and 98.6% of construction waste was diverted from landfill, achieving a SKA Silver rating.

🧩 Inclusivity: a detailed accessibility audit shaped the design, with accessible meeting rooms, booths and shared spaces throughout. Neurodiverse needs are supported through varied lighting, acoustics and spatial settings.

👥 People-first design: a thoughtful mix of focused, collaborative and breakout spaces, using warm materials and soft acoustics to create a comfortable, intuitive and human-centred workplace.

A space that brings together purpose, wellbeing and environmental responsibility. Another successful project. Well done bg. Team.

We’re proud to share the completion of Farringdon Point, a CAT A+ workplace transformation delivered for Columbia Threadneedle Investments.

It’s been great to see this project come to life, reimagining the Ground Floor, common parts and Level 3 to create a flexible, design-led and sustainable workspace in the heart of Farringdon alongside Spratley & Partners.

Rather than a full strip-out, the approach focused on retaining and enhancing existing infrastructure, relocating and refinishing glazed partitions, reconfiguring M&E systems, and maximising material reuse to reduce environmental impact.

Level 3 now provides a flexible, market-ready workspace, with open plan areas, meeting rooms, phone booths and collaborative settings to support all the workplace needs.

A key achievement we’re particularly proud of is the project’s sustainability performance, with 78.2% of construction waste recycled, 21.8% recovered for energy, and zero waste sent to landfill.

DANI by Daniel K Jewellery Flagship Store, South Molton Street, Mayfair

We’re thrilled to see the completion of the new flagship UK store for Dani K Jewellery, a beautifully detailed retail space that captures the brand’s luxurious and timeless aesthetic.

This boutique project combined precision joinery, high-spec finishes, and bespoke furniture to create an environment that showcases Dani K’s exquisite craftsmanship and design sensibility.

Delivered within a compact site and to a highly detailed brief, the team overcame planning and logistical challenges to achieve a space that feels both elegant and inviting, perfectly placed on one of London’s most iconic shopping streets in Mayfair.

A truly stunning result for an exceptional brand. Well done bg. team ✨
