A thoroughly productive finishing session yesterday with young striker @jaden_odama. We implemented some fast-feet work in each drill, just before taking his shot. This placed a real emphasis on technique when tired and made the exercise relevant to the latter stages of a match; when your legs are fatigued and you need to remain composed in front of goal. Jaden worked extremely hard and showcased his wide range of finishing capabilities. Looking forward to locking in again next week ⚽️🔋⚡️

Pre-season really started for creative midfielder @kevzinoooo_ yesterday. While working on his ingenuity around the box, we also implemented phases of recovery runs; to ensure he blew the cobwebs off and got some conditioning work into his legs. A talented player, who is comfortable with both feet - I look forward to locking in again soon 🔋⚡️

A first 1-2-1 session for U8 player Jaxon. It’s a pleasure to see such enthusiasm and passion for the game in a player so young. The crux of our session was based on left & right foot repetitions, to hone his fundamental passing and shooting skills. Getting used to using your weaker foot from a young age is imperative and we will continue to practice this, until it becomes autonomous and feels completely natural. Great work mate - next week we take it up a notch ⚽️🔋⚡️

Back out on the green stuff today with U18 midfield player Michael.

The main focus was on ball manipulation in tight situations and intelligent play around the box, culminating in an end product at goal. We also implemented some conditioning work (all with the ball, in true disguised fashion) 😅.

A highly productive session. Stay humble and keep grafting young man 🔋⚡️

Another productive morning, facilitating a 2-2-1 session with two highly motivated individuals. We focused on a variety of aspects of the game; most notably body shape when receiving the ball around the box. Once received, there was an emphasis on manipulating the ball sharply, and with quality, in order to execute a shot or cross before the defender could intervene.
