I hope Wordpress is still a thing… I’m feeling very 2011.
It’s important to know what was going on in the world when a particular soap opera episode appeared on TV in the 1980’s. It can give you a lot of insight and a high brow excuse to watch low brow TV guilt-free. I am speaking from experience here. Comedians Kathryn Mather and Spring “Kathryn” Day are Watching EastEnders From the Very Beginning on YouTube Channel and you are invited to watch them talk about each episode in ridiculous detail They’ve done 4 episodes so far and only have 7,000+ episodes to go!
There is not much I miss about the United States but I do miss amateur rap nights. You will find some of the most adorable expressions perseverance that is life-affirming and inspirational as you are reminded everyone’s gotta start somewhere. I highly recommend going to an amateur rap night to anyone feeling a bit too cynical. It will melt your cold heart💗

1:45pm 17-30 August I’m doing my Edinburgh Fringe Festival show: My Name is Spring Day and Other Stupid Facts at Bar 50 in the Garden Room one of the few wheelchair accessible venues at the Fringe. It’s an hour of straight up stand up comedy and joke heavy stories that prove that not only is the truth is stranger than fiction, it’s a lot funnier too.
