In preparation for the concert this Saturday -- you can hear an interview I did with WDIY - this Thursday at 11am - You can hear it at 88.1 or wide.org or on the WDIY app. My first one!!!

I wanted to let everyone know about an upcoming concert I will be playing on and having a piece of mine premiered on. It will be at Lehigh University next week.

David was my teacher and I owe so much of my compositional skill and knowledge to him. There is some music of his, and also several of his other students: Clint Borzoni, Tom Cipullo and Tamar Muskal. If you can, please join us!

Spent a great evening at Conrad Weiser High School, enjoy a beautiful concert present by the choral ensembles, conducted by Sarah McGrory. It was musical and heartfelt, and honest, and vulnerable -- very impressed. Sarah had asked me to write a piece for the Choraliers and it was wonderful to hear them do such a great job with it -- (and Ariel nailed the piano part, which is not easy)! Thanks Sarah for the opportunity and thank you Choraliers for doing such a great job!

A great birthday week! Thanks to all for the well wishes! Thanks to my super family for the attention - completely unnecessary- I am blessed to have you in my life!! I blessed with lifelong friends and kind caring people who accept me for my flawed self. Much to be thankful for and much more to come and share and celebrate with all of you! Onward!!!

Very excited to be returning to as a visiting professor in the fall!

Za’atar chicken - homemade lebneh, Whipped feta and salad - kids return to college tomorrow…

Homemade Ramen with the kids while home on break!. Now back to writing another track!

Day 4: we’ll when using Citymapper be specific about which Abby road… eventually got there- made the pilgrimage for all my protege classmates. Then to borough market for paella- and the to the shard - tallest building in London- then to a great restaurant in soho- Peruvian and Italian - then to see come from away - really exceptionally performed - finally a pint with grace at the corner pub hearing about her atypical thanksgiving - great day … but tomorrow rain and a tube strike!!!

Day 3: changing of the guard, and Westminster Abby - then dinner at a pub and seeing “the play that goes wrong” - ridiculously funny - even I laughed out loud- the walking through Covent garden market…

Starting our trip- off the plane - checked in - fighting through not napping so found a hole-in-the-wall French sandwich shoppe. Let the games begin….
