UK advertising is changing fast.
Gen Z now spends over 50% of their time on social, yet many brands still invest only around 12% of their advertising budgets there. That gap says a lot about where the opportunity really is.
As we head into 2026, the shift isn’t about shiny new platforms. It’s about how people discover brands, how they build trust, and how quickly culture now moves.
In our latest blog, we explore why video, social and AI are leading the change, and what it means for brands looking to grow.
Have a read here:
The Biggest UK Advertising Trends Shaping 2026: Why Video, Social and AI Lead the Shift - Square Elephant Productions UK advertising is entering a genuine reset moment. What we saw building through 2024 accelerated sharply in 2025, and by 2026 the shift is no longer optional.

When creative ambition meets bold storytelling, magic happens.
So proud of our campaign for HONOR winning GOLD at The Drum Awards APAC.
At Square Elephant Productions, we are incredibly proud of this powerful and deeply human project, which was created to raise awareness and support for those living with Motor Neurone Disease (ALS). Titled , the film centres around the remarkable story of Bernard Muller, a Dutch businessman who was diagnosed with ALS in 2010.
Despite being completely immobile, Bernard has continued to express himself through digital art—thanks to groundbreaking advances in AI and multimodal technology. The campaign is not just a showcase of tech innovation, but a tribute to the resilience of the human spirit and how technology, when designed with purpose, can become truly transformative.
Shot over a week across London, the Netherlands, and China, the campaign brought together a global team of creatives and technologists. Our goal was to combine cinematic visuals with intimate, documentary-style storytelling, while authentically integrating HONOR’s AI technology into Bernard’s real-life creative process.
Massive thanks to HONOR, our collaborator BBC StoryWorks, and the incredible crew who helped us bring this to life
