Recently our friends at Shure came over to show us their groundbreaking new DCA901 digital microphone array. Offering eight digitally steerable lobes, all delivered over a single Dante networked audio connection including automix and onboard DSP. All of this helps you capture sound from positions you never thought you could before with new clarity.

Even more exciting than that, they also gave us our very own Shure 100 SM58! Happy Birthday Shure!

🎛 Equipment Focus: Glensound Inferno
As it’s Glensound’s 60th year, we’re highlighting one of the true workhorses of global sports commentary: the Inferno.
If you’re at a major sporting event, chances are there’s a Glensound commentary unit somewhere behind the scenes. The compact but incredibly capable Inferno units are built for that environment, offering the reliability and flexibility needed for live sports production.
Small in size, but a huge part of delivering commentary from stadiums around the world.

With the world’s wireless environment getting busier than ever, we spent November testing our newly modified Riedel Bolero antenna across several stadiums and the results have been fantastic! 📶

Thanks to our custom-designed filters, we can block out unwanted mobile phone signals while keeping essential show comms coming through loud and clear. 🙌

We had the pleasure of working with our long-term client Event360 (now Kojo) on both sides of the country and both codes of rugby! 🏉
From the 2nd test of the first Rugby League Ashes series in 20 years at the brand new Everton, Hill Dickinson Stadium, to the Rugby Union Autumn Internationals at Allianz Stadium, it was an unforgettable weekend of sport and atmosphere.
