A week on from Kilburn Light Festival! InBloom was originally commissioned for the Sharjah Islamic Arts Festival, and it’s been special to see the piece continue its journey over the past 10 years, taking on new meaning each time it lands in a different landscape and community.

Huge thanks to and .camden (and the full festival team) for having us, and to everyone who came through last weekend.

We built Mewa as a space for people to gather, rest, and reflect.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
At this year’s in - reimagined as a wild, regenerative landscape - the sculpture offered a pause-point in the chaos: a moment for festival-goers to stop, breathe, and reflect on Shangri-La’s Wilding manifesto of resistance, reconnection, and radical joy.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Originally commissioned by for , and designed with , Mewa found new resonance here. It became a shelter, a stage, a place to light candles, to lie flat, to meet, to be alone, and to rewild the mind.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Thank you to everyone who stepped inside and made it yours. And thank you .art and for making space for this kind of stillness within the wild.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Swipe to see how light, shadow, and stillness shaped Mewa 🌞🌙

From the middle east to the british fields 🌍✨
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Mewa arrived in at this year as a sculptural space for reflection, built from interlocking timber ribs and inspired by the sacred geometry of the Qubba.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Originally commissioned by and positioned at the for the 25th Sharjah Islamic Arts Festival - with patterns designed by - the structure responds to light and shadow, filtering sun by day and glowing softly by night.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It was a joy to bring this piece to Glastonbury. Having been part of the first post-COVID edition to the final one before the fallow year. Thank you for letting us be part of this evolving wild landscape.

A quiet pulse in the heart of Shangri-La 🌿
Mewa stood beneath the trees and towers of , a sculptural pavilion designed for reflection, built from light and shadow, and seeded with intention.
It was first shown at Islamic Arts Festival, commissioned by , with its distinctive patterns created in collaboration with .
Now, re-rooted at in a landscape rewilded by imagination and radical hope it found new meaning.
Thank you to everyone who gathered, sat, or passed through.
And thank you .art and for nurturing projects that ask people to pause.

Thank you and for having us 🌿

Mewa arrived at Glastonbury as part of Shangri-La’s Wilding - a reimagined landscape of resistance, radical joy, and creative regeneration.

Originally commissioned for the Sharjah Islamic Arts Festival in the UAE, the pavilion takes inspiration from the geometry of the Qubba and features mashrabiya-inspired patterns developed by . Its form invites reflection and rest - a sculptural space to breathe, think, and set intention - quietly echoing the call to rewild and reimagine the future together.

By day, it filtered the sun into shadows. By night, it glowed, calling, a sculptural beacon of pause and possibility.

Thank you to everyone who shared the space with us. Whether you passed through, laid flat, or simply looked up, it was a joy to witness.

Throw back to 2022 when brought Kilpi to Glastonbury – our first time showing work at the festival. A sculptural canopy of shifting light and shadow, it created a quiet moment of stillness among the chaos.⛺🌬️

Now, three years later to the day, we’re driving back down the same roads with a new installation in the back. Very different work, but the same spirit of openness, adventure, and shared space.

See you in the fields 💫

Four years ago today, on the Summer Solstice, Circle of Light illuminated for the first time as part of the Summer Lights Festival. 🌞✨

The installation explored the hidden nature of sunlight in our everyday environment — revealing the full visible spectrum through movement, colour and reflection. A sculptural prism, responding to the longest day of the year.

As we turn again toward the light, here’s a little solstice throwback 🌈💫

Floating above the city, Entwine glows in rhythm with our collective dreams. Shifting from quiet pulses to vivid bursts, its light programme mirrors the fragmented, emotional nature of dreams.

Three interwoven rings – past, present, future – orbit above Darling Harbour, reminding us that imagination lives in motion.

Beneath the dreamy light show lies intricate engineering. 168 custom LED tubes are precisely placed across modular truss circles, interlocked with architectural symmetry, brought to life through carefully programmed choreography. Every glimmer and burst is precisely timed to evoke the intangible, layered world of dreams.

Stepping beneath Entwine, you’re drawn into a moment of wonder. The three glowing rings soar above – vast yet intricate – creating an experience that feels both intimate and expansive.

This installation invites audiences to slow down, look up, and become part of a shared dream.
