✨ SPEAKER REVEAL - REMEMBER YOUR WHY✨
It’s that time of the year again 🗓️
ISoc work is mounting and in all honesty, you may be getting a little bit fed up with it all. You find yourself counting down the days until the end of the ISoc year and just can’t wait for it to be over 😩🤩
That’s where we come in! 🎊
Perhaps, it’s time to step back and ask ourselves why 🤚 Why? Why? Why?
With our special guest Shaykh Yayha Ibrahim, we hope to be able to reflect and remind ourselves of the importance of our roles and responsibilities 🧘♀️
To enlighten ourselves of our pivotal place within our organisations and communities 👥
To re-find the inspiration we once captured and to wear our shoes of motivation so we can keep running forward! 👟
There will also be ample time for questions and answers. A chance to have your difficult issues heard and Insha Allah resolved❓🙋♂️
So, save the date, invite your friends and stock up on plenty of fine refreshments for the day 🍩🍕🍎

Assalamu Alikom,
I wanted to personally thank University of Birmingham Islamic Society, Aston Islamic Society and Nottingham Trent University for attending the interactive online "Power of Why" Training. Masha Allah it was really amazing to see their engagement and see them learn and develop from the training and take back messages to their committees and their members. May Allah bless all committee members and Muslim students who are still being able to plan and take part in the growth and development of Muslim students even in these difficult times with our mental health being affected. I have attached a link to our recording for those who are interested to listen and benefit from it aswell.

Asalamu Alikom Midland Isocs,
We are pleased to announce our first collaborative training event for all our midland committee members! This training will rejuvinate your minds and redefine your purpose while also helping to motivate you in these difficult times. This short seminar will help not only yourselves but your committees, members and future leaders of your isocs. So help us to help you and come to our webinar hosted by the Midlands Chair, Lyla Fahmy.
We are here to support you!
This module is centered around purpose and has two parts; first at an individual level and then the importance of an Islamic Society and why it should exist. It will help the team to build a sense of personal belonging within the Islamic Society, paired with a collective team spirit, as well as an understanding of the importance of an Islamic Society and the meaningful reasons behind why Islamic Society work is imperative for Muslims to be involved in. The module combines the understanding of dunya and akhirah through teaching the hadith of intentions and ayaat about purpose, shedding light on the rewards of the akhirah, and providing an understanding of the holistic nature of Islam, and the importance of its representation in society in a pragmatic manner.
