This substantial delay indicates to me that Rocksteady intends to make some fairly big changes to the core gameplay in a bid to appease fans. To announce the delay so close to the planned launch could mean the team has been really shaken by the less than stellar reception and that they are no longer confident in their initial vision for what Kill the Justice League is.

A recent example occurred just a few weeks ago when they proceeded to come down like a tonne of sh*t-covered bricks on Youtuber PointCrow whose 1.6 million subscribers know him for his Zelda gameplay and mod videos. Nintendo has taken a dislike to his videos which often display modded gameplay of Breath of the Wild and launched a campaign of copyright striking his videos, including those that don’t show any modified gameplay. Other YouTubers have been hit, too.

The Konami stuff he is referring to happened on May 7th when rumours were sparked that Konami have signed some sort of deal with Sony in regards to a few exciting projects. According to XboxEra podcast host Nick Baker, a Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Remaster announcement might occur at the next Showcase and could involve some sort of Playstation exclusivity. He did say his source was uncertain, though.
