Sentinel Design and Build

This was a project we carried a while ago and it still looks great, replace existing balcony structure, remove existing rear first floor doors and window, install a steel beam with triple sliding Aluminium doors, glass balcony balustrades, spiral stair case, porcelain paving to the balcony, new garden paving and even a tree house for the kids to play in.

Raised garden excavated, new soakaway installed ready for new large ground and first floor extension to rear and side of house complete with loft conversion, A393 mesh and rebar cages created to install the 215mm concrete hollow blocks for the garden retaining walls and steps, well done to Jack Corbyn and all the guys on this one

This was a project that we was asked to be involved with after the original building contractors shall we say never carried out the works as a professional construction company, as I’ve said before you must do your research on the company that you intend to use on your projects, more and more this is happening and it’s no fun and it’s horrendously expensive to pay twice, you have been warned, stay safe and up the professionals, PS big thanks to all the guys involved in this project, Respect x

In order for a dream project to be created you must go with the correct construction company, many times I’ve had to put other builders work right as the clients have been taken on and the original company have created a nightmare situation, please make sure you pick your construction company wisely, Steve

All going very well at our Blackheath SE3 project, Foundations at 2700mm deep due to trees in the area of extension construction, walls up to DPC, block and beam floor installed, exterior of brick work has been Tanked due to the high ground heights and water levels, all drainage installed, well done to Jack Corbyn (my son) and his team on this one as he running the foundation excavations and masonry works on this project

Project specifications was to completely remove the roof coverings, existing timber joist, facia and guttering because the old original timber joist was split and damaged due to the weight of the concrete tiles that was installed time ago, complete strip off and replace with upgraded structural timber joists with a natural slate finish roof coverings, well done to all the staff involved
