I am painting a step-by-step semi abstract landscape in Watercolour using Daniel Smith’s Watercolour’s, including Ro Sienna, Payne‘s grey and cerulean.
I use wet into wet techniques plus wet on dry.

I paint from my imagination and I encourage you to have a go at picking up your brushes and just a few colours and try out some of these techniques .
You don’t have to have any skills in drawing, just an open mind to have a go.

🌸 **Quick Flower Painting Tutorial** 🌸

Hey everyone! Today, I’m sharing a simple and relaxing way to paint flowers in your sketchbook. 💖

✨ **Materials**:
- **Daniel Smith’s Pyrrol Red** for the petals
- **Plastic card** for scratching veins into the paper
- **HansaYellow Light** and **Payne’s Grey** for stems and leaves

💧 Start by mixing Pyrrol Red with lots of water to create soft, flowing petals. Use the plastic card to gently scratch thin veins into the wet paint for texture. For the stems and leaves, blend Hands are Yellow Light with Payne’s Grey for a lovely contrast!

If you’re short on time, this quick painting of a flower is perfect!

Happy painting! 🎨✨

🌸✨ Just finished a vibrant watercolour tutorial featuring an allium flower, and I can't wait to share it with you! Using a mix of **Daniel Smith watercolours**—**Ultramarine**, **Opera Rose**, **Cobalt Teal**, and **Hansa Yellow Light**—I explored some fun techniques like salt and spritzing to create texture and depth.

🌅✨ Just wrapped up this semi-abstract landscape using my favorite Daniel Smith watercolors! 🎨💧

I love how the colors blend and interact when I spritz, tilt, and sprinkle salt on the wet paint. Each layer tells its own story, creating a unique depth that’s hard to capture in a photo.

The freedom of watercolor is truly magical—sometimes the best parts come from happy accidents! 🌊🖌️ Can’t wait to experiment more with these techniques.
