Missed painting more than I thought. It’s been a while, but getting back to it feels right. There’s something about mixing colors and watching shapes come to life that just hits different.

This piece is for my parents’ new room. Wanted to give them something that says ‘thanks’ and ‘love you’ without needing any words. It’s good to be back, brush in hand, making something that matters.

Thought I’d post a blast from the past today! When I was a teenager I would dye my hair all sorts of colours & I loved Camden market!
This was a self portrait painting I did when I was 16/17 🤘🎸😝 done with acrylic paint

This painting is called “Happy”.
I wasn’t sure how this was going to turn out, when I started I envisioned random shapes and strong biro lines but as I started and felt the happiness within I just wanted to paint/draw bright flowers and I wanted it to be colourful.
I’ve recently gone through a change in my life and I think it’s been for the better 😊

This painting was done when I was in a really bad mood, everything that happened during the day went wrong and nothing was going right. I felt like everyone around me was angry and no one was being nice to me and I thought, what did I do? I’m just trying to get by, it’s not hard to be nice. Just one of those days. I came home, didn’t want to speak to anyone and just painted this in anger and sadness. I’m fine now and I’m sure we all have days like this.
