It is true that our senses are our guide to the world. While they help us to relate to what is around us, it is possible for adults and children to discover that Our Senses are Out of Practice. In our experience, familiar environments and activities can become the reason for people to feel not in control. As schools get ready for off-line learning, parents can help ease their children into the school environment and routine. Click on the link below to learn more.

Actions are mightier than Words!!
Our big & small actions make up most of what our kids learn, do & express. Stats show 93% of all communication is non-verbal and it’s in our DNA to pick-up tone, volume, pitch, rhythm, and facial expressions 20 TIMES more than actual words.
From the moment they’re born, children can perceive non-verbal actions & reactions. They mirror these in their daily life. It shapes their social skills, emotional intelligence and cognition.
Children learn the most from what you don’t say!
Focus on your body language and help build socio-emotional skills.

Even geniuses need to move!
Einstein's daily walk was sacred to him.
Whole body movements balance & resets the entire nervous system.
For kids, in their developmental years whole body movements lays the foundation ⭐️for learning everyday activities like balancing on one foot to wear a pair of bottoms.
⭐️For more complex motor skills like sports, dancing, and
⭐️For combined- brain & body skills like reading, writing, mathematical thinking.
Some even believe, that if you do not clock in the right amount of move minutes per day you are not really using your IQ to the fullest.
What's your sacred movement/activity? Let us know!

Huh! what? Say it again...👂🏼
Humans are constantly taking in information through their ears and filtering it to focus on what's important. Even though hearing is the first sense to develop, the auditory system doesn't fully develop until the age of 14 years.
What is it?
Auditory Perception is recognising, processing and giving meaning to what you hear. It is beyond simple listening skills. In a tele-conversation we tend to recognise the person's voice, understand what they're saying & give it a deeper meaning by picking up the tone in their voice even when the face is not visible to us. Auditory perception requires all these skills.
Why is it important?
To focus, to communicate, to be an efficient reader, & to maintain relationships.
How to build it at home?
⭐️Reduces background noise, ⭐️speak slower,
⭐️use strategies like chunking when talking,
⭐️play games that involve the auditory system like word chains, ⭐️copying rhythmic patterns like clapping beats, and
⭐️⭐️make music a part of your life.

🚨This is for ALL
Humans are visual beings! From the time we wake up to the time we sleep we are constantly processing information through our eyes. A system known as Visual Perception.
What is it?
Visual Perception is recognising & giving meaning to what we see.
Who is it for?
Everyone, 65% of people are visual learners.
Why build it?
90% of the information absorbed by the brain is visual and it is everywhere!
How does it impact everyday life?
For kids, it is the foundation for reading, writing, spelling, math, motor activities like cutting, drawing writing, body posture & movements like jumping, rolling.
For adults, it is embedded in everyday skills like cooking, driving, sporting activities, and work-skills.
How to build it at home?
For kids, incorporate age-appropriate visual perception activities like dot to dot, finding Waldo, jigsaw puzzles, outdoor games & sports.
For adults, incorporate it as part of everyday stress-management by going for walks, playing a sport, making jigsaw puzzles, paying attention to your balance & your posture, taking care of those eyes with diet & exercise and simply becoming more self-aware.
