My new t shirt design pays homage to Toussaint L’ouverture and the story of the Haitian revolution. 🇭🇹

Toussaint L’ouverture was one of the generals that rose up from slavery to defeat the Spanish, British and French - the most powerful European armies of the day. Unifying Saint-Domingue the name of French colony in the area of modern-day Haiti and Santo Domingo, the Spanish-held colony in the area of modern day Dominican Republic into the first independent Black state in 1804

The t-shirt features an original anime character design. By wearing this t shirt you are embodying the spirt of revolution, power and unity. ✊🏽

(Swipe to last photo) I used the Sashiko method to add details to the Ankh. It’s only right, that I matched it with Sashiko inspired Nike blazers mid.
