Welcome to my new home for the next 4 months 🤓 …. The winter refresh (mainly repair if I’m honest 😬) is firmly under way …. Just got to survey 1000 hours of dismantling footage to put it back together…don’t be surprised if it turns up at Snetterton in April with the engine in the front 🤯🏎️

A few shots of my 1971 Titan MK6 from another great seasons racing in Historic Formula Ford 1600 with 📸
Sadly I had to miss the last few rounds due to family & work commitments, however plans are already underway to have the required upgrades to my car to be fully competitive next year.
2026 is looking like an awesome 7 race calendar including the Brands Hatch Super Prix and Oulton Park Gold Cup.
No doubt the Historic FF1600 championship will once again attract some of the biggest grids in the UK and I can’t wait to get stuck in again next year 🏁
Thanks to all involved this year 🙏

Sir Jackie Stewart's emotional tribute to Jim Clark at Goodwood Revival:
— Sir Jackie Stewart paid homage to his late friend and two-time Formula 1 champion Jim Clark during the 2025 Goodwood Revival, marking 60 years since Clark's 1965 championship victory. Stewart reflected on their friendship, noting:
“He was a wonderful friend. As two Scots, to participate in Formula 1 at that time was something new, but Jim was a very, very good friend of Helen and I.”
— Stewart shared memories of their time together, emphasizing Clark's exceptional driving skills and their shared living arrangements in London:
“Throughout his career, he was the cleanest, best driver that I had ever been playing part of. We shared in London an apartment together, John Whitmore gave it to us, and Jim and I spent a lot of time there.”
— Overcome with emotion, Stewart expressed his enduring sensitivity about Clark's legacy:
“So even now, I feel sensitive about the whole thing.”
— The Goodwood Revival celebrated Clark's achievements with a unique tribute, releasing 50 sheep onto the circuit to honor his roots as the son of a sheep farmer in Fife, Scotland. The event also featured over 30 cars associated with Clark, including the Lotus 25, Lotus 38, and several Ford Cortinas, participating in the St. Mary's Trophy.
— Clark's illustrious career included 25 grand prix wins, 32 podium finishes, 33 pole positions, and 28 fastest laps from 1960 to 1968. He and Stewart set a lap record at Goodwood in 1965, which remains unbroken.
— The Duke of Richmond highlighted the significance of Clark's achievements, particularly his unique 1965 victories:
“It’s such a privilege to celebrate Jim Clark at the Goodwood Revival this year. His achievements in 1965 are the stuff of legend, including uniquely winning the Formula 1 World Championship and the Indy 500 in the same season.”

Brands Hatch Superprix 🏎️🏁
This was a bucket list race for me and it certainly didn’t disappoint.
I doubled up on track time by entering the Classic Formula Ford races (pre ‘82 cars) as well as the Historic Formula Ford races (pre’71 cars) as my Titan is a 1971 and qualifies for both categories.
It was an absolute scorcher of weekend with track temperatures in the mid 30’s made all the more challenging by choosing to run the car myself.
We jumped straight into qualifying as it’s not possible to test on the Grand Prix track and was pleased to get P6 in HFF from 28 cars and then further improve my pace to get P3 in CFF from 26 cars.
HFF Race1 was difficult as I had set the tyre pressures too low so we came home in P8.
CFF Race 1 was a strong race securing P4 overall and P2 in class.
HFF Race 2 was the highlight of the weekend as we found more pace from changing the carburetor which resulted in battling from P8 through to P2 clinching the fastest lap in the process. 😎
CFF Race 2 was shaping up to be a great 4 way battle. However, a spin at Paddock Hill whilst going for the overtake unfortunately meant I ended the weekend in the gravel.
All in all, another unforgettable weekend, racing with the
Huge thanks as ever to all the volunteers that make UK motorsport possible 🙏

Another awesome weekend racing the Titan Formula Ford with the 🏎️🏁
We made solid progress after starting a little on the back foot with no testing, managing to qualify P6 from 24 cars.
Race 1 was my first wet race in a Formula Ford and taking on the Craner curves in such slippery conditions was a little spicy, however I somehow managed to keep it pointing in the right direction, whilst moving up to P5.
Race 2 was dry and I was hoping to be able to challenge for a podium but ended up in an epic race long battle for P4 which allowed the leading trio to escape up the road.
The lads at the front are seriously quick in this championship but I’ll be doing my best to get back on that podium next time.
Thanks to team Grant for keeping my car running this year and everyone else involved 🙏
