Open Wide

Always a reminder of the sheer power and strength of these creatures even when resting. This male lion put on a display of his prowess for us while the evening light faded away.

Power in rest.

Got to witness this beautiful male lion enjoying the peace of the African evening, after just having eaten this male and another were sprawled out right next to the road. The other hidden by the golden grass while this one on full display. Was incredible to sit and take in this moment as the light faded away.

Sunshine and Rides

This caught my eye while out on the beach, on such a clear and sunny day the white frame against the blue sky was asking to be captured.

Beach Day Out

Units from across the Navy gathered at the beach in Weymouth for another year of Sun, Sand and Rugby. A great day out as always filled with big hits and theatrical dives.

Load Carry

A young boy, in the midst of the city works to bring food for his family’s cattle. Everyday walking miles to collect fresh trimmings of grass.

Cobwebs of the city

I love these crazy electrical wires that hang low in the streets and all meet up in to one big nest at the top of each pole mile after mile. Not only do they show the character of a city like Kathmandu but they show the ever growing modernisation of city life. From what seems like chaos comes an adaptive solution to progress.

Supplying the Family

Kathmandu, Nepal - 2025

A local man hikes with supplies on his back to take from the fields to the market. His fields sits in the valley of the capital and is a steep walk up to get to the market. Despite the load and the walk through the heat of the day this man made it look easy.

Each day in Nepal was full of amazing interactions that were filled with curiosity and joy. A warm welcome wherever you go is very much part of the culture here.

The First run out this summer for the Navy Stingrays who took on competition at Devon 7s tournament this weekend. Walking away as plate winners after a mix of results over the day. Although there was much to learn from, the team showed their quality in line breaks, physicality and skill. Well done to the lads who played and to the coaches who drive them forward. Was a day full of excitement not only for this competition but the ones to come.
