I’m Lydia and I’ve been living with type 1 diabetes for nearly 12 years. Managing it hasn’t always been easy—especially with a busy lifestyle and a love for eating out. I created Check Select Inject because I wanted something that made diabetes management feel less overwhelming and more tailored to real life.

Hey Everyone, it’s Lydia :)

I teamed up with to share my story about my experience with the NHS. At the time of this campaign I hadn’t had my eyes checked in a while which led me to book privately. Unfortunately they discovered signs of diabetic retinopathy which left me feeling so distraught.

I’ve been working tirelessly to improve my health and I’m so glad I caught it early enough to reverse the damage🙏🏽
