Disruption Ritual emerged from a spontaneous workshop conducted in an East London kitchen, at the beginning of
2023, by João Neves and Pedro Almeida.

This live performance project champions advanced experimentalism,
seamlessly blending melodic interaction with cinematic sound techniques.
Primarily a performance act, Disruption Ritual employs complex methods to achieve mental displacement and induce
hypnotic rhythms.

The duo delves into dance music within an alternate sonic universe, manipulating sound and employing special effects to craft unique ambiences. These ambiences echo themes of human exploration and
technological progress, aiming to foster progressive mental expansion.

Through the thoughtful application of resonant healing frequencies, Disruption Ritual creates a harmonious
connection between mind and body, offering a transformative experience.
Exclusively for Existance Festival 2025, Cassandra, previously having contributed to a few studio works, is joining the
live stage, implementing healing overtones with the usage of Gongs, Bells and other live healing frequency generative
instruments, enhancing the performance through the exploration of the sonic tonalities of the mind, body and soul
