If you need something a bit more sophisticated to play complex games on make sure you get the right person to talk to at the shop. Ask a few questions about what graphics card it has etc. Don't take the first thing they suggest, get the details and then look for a review about it online.

xmas period is a ideal time for the scammers! Be careful and do not open mail attachments from people you do not know. Beware of mails offering large vouchers from superstores asking you to verify your details by clicking on any links in the mail. If it looks too good to be true it usually is.!!!!!
