Things has been exceptionally quiet here this year at Bonsai HQ due to a combination of mental health challenges and a career change, but there are plans in place for next year, including the possibility of breeding a new variety… 😱

Bonsai Yennefer of Vengerberg: 13/9/23 - 18/6/25

This is the hardest post I’ve ever had to write. This is the hardest and most emotional pet passing away I’ve ever felt.

You shouldn’t have favourites, but, Yen was the sweetest, bestest pet you could ever have the fortune to have known. First generation Bonsai, winner of best pet two weeks in a row at the LSC and NFRS annual shows in 2024, Judge’s Friend at Spring Cup just a couple of months ago. Always the first to the cage door even if you were just walking past or she heard your voice, so calm and loved to pose with her prize rosettes and trophies! Anyone who met her could never forget her.

I’m going to miss her more than any other pet I’ve had, possibly that I’ll ever have.

Rest in peace, my friend. 🥺
