UbuntuPledge is proud to have completed the latest round of NHS App Training across Brent Council, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, and Harrow Council. We worked with over 26 community organisations, delivered 61 sessions, and helped 1,080 residents and frontline Staff gain confidence with the NHS App.

πŸ“± From downloading the NHS App to accessing health records and booking appointments, our user-first approach helped bridge the digital gap with compassion and clarity.

🌟 Reflecting on the recent work we've done with the Brent Health Matters team. After delivering NHS app training over a three-month period, we had the opportunity to share our learnings and insights with their staff. We provided training to better equip the team on how to effectively deliver the NHS app training to the community members they support. Reflecting on our NHS App session with the Eritrean Elderly Welfare Association on May 23, we are delighted with the outcome. Attended by 30 participants, this session provided invaluable advice, information, and support to elderly and disabled Eritreans, including refugees and asylum seekers. 🏠 Special thanks to Eyob Tesfazgi, all the trustees, and the team for their invaluable help. πŸ€—

Brent Health Matters - NHS App Training 🌟

Throughout late May and June, we teamed up with Brent Health Matters to provide training to Brent residents. These sessions helping residents access the NHS services through the App. πŸ“² Special thanks to Alexia Benjamin and Sangeetha Ilanko and the Kilburn hub team for their support. πŸ™Œ

The Ubuntu Pledge team is excited to continue collaborating with Brent Health Matters and contributing to their community efforts.

Reflecting on our collaboration with the West London GP Federation, we delivered NHS App sessions at St Quintin Ave, North Kensington Medical Centre, and Grand Union Health Centre. With attendances of 45 and 32, these sessions helped many patients learn to use the NHS App effectively. πŸ“² Special thanks to Jaleesa Hall, Dr. Tatjana Djordjevic, Ewelina Oczos, and Faith Williams Ryan for their support. πŸ™Œ

Reflecting on the NHS App training and conversation at the AlManaar Centre on May 15, we are delighted to share that it was a tremendous success, with enthusiastic participation from the attendees. 🌟 The women learned a lot and gained confidence in using the app to check their health records. πŸ“² Special thanks to Intlak Al Saiegh for organizing this impactful seminar. πŸ™Œ

Ubuntu Pledge & Happy Lizzy celebrated on SundayEid Al-Adha with a health and wellbeing event with partners like Dr Bike, Kulan Somali Organisation, Westminster Community Champions, Harrow Road Soup Kitchen, Queen's Park Bangladesh Association and the City of Westminster.

Highlights:

Awareness: Promoted NHS App and digital skills.
Activities: Boxing, yoga, bouncy castles, henna.
Community: Westminster City Council, Brent Council and RBKC Council residents are connected.
Attendees: 500+ people.
