From repair to full replacement 🔨🪵

We were called in to repair two sets of external wooden French doors and a timber window. Once work was underway, it became clear the doors were beyond repair. To keep everything secure, we temporarily boarded the openings while brand-new doors were custom manufactured in a joinery workshop, exactly to the client’s specification 👌

We then installed new hardwood sills, spliced and repaired frames where required, and carried out repairs to the two windows. Everything was fully primed and finished, ready for interior decoration by others 🎨

Another project where doing it properly was the only option 💪

One of our final projects of 2025 was this staircase storage solution.

The customers had a large entrance hallway and an open, returning oak staircase. They needed some storage for shoes and other items that were cluttering the hallway.

Our suggestion was to create two storage cupboards, blocking in the Oak staircase with MDF veneer and creating a number of shelves for show storage.

We blocked in the bottom stair risers, created touch catch doors and installed rechargeable lighting units for provide a full solution.We also applied Osmo oil to match the existing oak as best as possible.

We recently returned to Danegrove Primary School, completing a stud partition (which was primed and left ready for final decoration by the caretakers).

This was created to form a 'SEND' space - (Special Education, Needs and Disabilities space) to allow the children a safe space to retreat if overwhelmed.

Whilst we was there we cut out some ply for a new display and fixed a handful of benches too!
