Part 3 of our recap!
For George Clooney directed “The Boys In The Boat” we had the task of putting together a 1930’s American marching band. In HBO Series “The Nevers”, we were on set for actor coaching and sourcing a hand double. For Netflix produced “Persuasion” we worked with wonderful music supervisor Catherine Grieves to provide specialist period performers for on-screen and recording work.

Thank you to all of our wonderful performers for doing such a great job on set. And thanks of course to the productions that we worked with, to source the perfect musicians for these exciting projects. More to come in 2025!

Part 2 of our recap!
For the blockbuster “Dungeons and Dragons”, we provided specialist musicians to fit the fantasy world and style of the film. In both “Downton Abbey” films we sourced different string sections. For the series “A Town Called Malice” we cast both a church choir and band and also provided On-Set Music Supervision, acting as the communication link between the musical performers, the audio recordist and the director.

Besides Music Supervision for Film/TV, one of the main services we also provide is the casting of musicians. We have an extensive musician database of over 2000 performers and have had the pleasure of working on so many great productions, some of which we haven’t had time to post about! So, we thought, why not do a quick 3-part recap of some of our favorite projects to date?

The Steven Spielberg produced “Masters Of The Air” was one of our lengthiest jobs to date. One of the main tasks was casting a full army big band. The boys got to spend over three weeks on set in total and can be seen and heard in four out of the ten episodes. Other highlights include finding the lead role violinist for “The Song Of Names”, and sourcing various hand doubles (incl. for Will Ferrell) for “Eurovision: The Story Of Fire Saga”.

Amazing feeling to back in a studio today! We managed to record some voices for a film project in the UK as safely as possible, getting people in one at a time. We’re really pleased with the result and wholeheartedly recommend - great experience with one of their mixing engineers there. Will definitely be back! Thanks guys!
