Creators of indestructible algae and plants 🌊🌱
We help you care wildly 💚
No green thumb nee BioBright is a business that beliefs on people and nature 💚

BioBright is based upon a vision of guiding customers with black thumbs to maintain and grow freshwater plants, algae and bioluminescent algae without being a botanic and biotechnology expert. We discovered that the vast majority of people love plants, but most of them do not have the time and skills to take care of them. Believe in yourself you allow others to follow your beliefs and dreams.

We hope you enjoyed your summer and are ready for September and our new article on coral bleaching. When ocean temperatures rise, corals lose the algae that give them colour and energy, a process known as bleaching.

Our oceans are absorbing more CO₂ than ever, making them more acidic, silently threatening marine life, coral reefs, and food chains. It’s time to act before the damage becomes irreversible.

When we first started BioBright back in 2021, we brought to you our unique algae plants, offering a product that was both a stylish accessory and a way to help reduce the air’s CO₂ levels in your home.

Since then, we have discovered just how magnificent algae really are. Through extensive research, we have realised the potential algae have to mitigate the effects of climate change. Did you know, algae are incredibly effective at absorbing pollutants as well as CO₂, such as copper, zinc, nitrate, phosphorus, ammonia, and ammonium, which are devastating for the environment? Since this discovery, we have been working hard to harness the power of algae to strive towards a more sustainable future.

Today, we are proud to reintroduce BioBright. We help ports and marinas improve air and water quality with our dual system, combining algae cultivation with real-time environmental monitoring. Through this approach, the maritime industry can improve its compliance with environmental laws and regulations, saving up to £50 million in government fines every year, whilst enhancing both biodiversity and human health within marine communities.

It is our mission to support the global maritime industry in reducing its carbon footprint and water pollution. We will achieve this by working with ports and marinas to deploy our algae and monitoring system in their areas of operation, starting within the UK.

This doesn’t mean that you will not be able to purchase our decorative algae plant products. In fact, they are still available on our website, becoming a symbol of our advocacy and a way for you to directly support our vision as we strive for a brighter future together.
