Have you ever looked around at your life and wondered why something feels missing, even though on paper everything seems okay?
You are working, looking after people, carrying responsibilities, showing up every day and doing all the things that need to be done, yet somewhere underneath, then you realise you have become disconnected from something, and often that something is you.
I think for many of us it starts years before we even realise it,
staying strong, looking after everybody else, leaving our own feelings to one side.
We become so busy being what everyone else needs us to be that we slowly lose touch with what we need ourselves.
The difficult thing is that it can feel completely normal because it has become the way we live.
We get used to ignoring our feelings, pushing through exhaustion, talking ourselves out of what we know deep down and convincing ourselves that we will deal with it later.
Then one day we find ourselves feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, lonely or lost, and we cannot quite understand why because nothing appears wrong on the surface.
What I have learned is that connection is not just about the people around us.
Connection starts with us, It starts with listening to ourselves again, recognising our emotions, understanding our needs and giving ourselves permission to be honest about how we really feel.
When that connection begins to return, something starts to shift.
Decisions become easier, relationships become healthier, confidence grows and life feels less like something we are constantly trying to manage and more like something we are living.
Sometimes the relationship that needs the most attention is the relationship we have with ourselves.

You know that feeling on a Friday night, you kick your shoes off, put your PJs on, pour yourself a glass of wine and think, I have made it through another week?
Nice night with the hubby, nice glass of wine then two, and before you know it the weekend is here, and you have promised the kids a day out, because it is the weekend and they deserve it, but you have not got the energy to even get up and go.
You get up make an effort try your best, you put that big smile on, you laugh, and nobody around you has any idea that inside you are feeling stressed tiered, mind working overtime.
Saturday passes, Sunday passes, and then Monday arrives and it has barely even started before you already feel like you are running on empty again.
And here is the thing, from the outside everything looks fine, the family looks happy, the house is running, you are showing up, but inside something feels completely out of Balance, and you cannot quite put your finger on why, because you cannot point to one single thing and say that is the problem.
That is because overwhelm rarely comes from what is happening around you, it comes from patterns that have been quietly running inside you for years, long before you had any understanding of where they came from or why they were there.
Did you know that when your body comes out of Balance you can become weepy for no obvious reason?
Did you know that overwhelm can make you snappy with the people you love the most, even when they have done nothing wrong?

Are you a strong man? successful, everyone's jack of all trades, pleasing the wife, sorting the business, the kids, and any problems you have, always keeping them to yourself.
What if I told you your biggest performance problem isn't a skills gap, a time management issue, or even a lack of motivation?
What if I told you it was a pattern so deeply embedded in you that it's taking over your decisions, your reactions, and your relationships at home and at work.
You've never once questioned it, because to you it feels normal, and it's just who you are.
Most high performers I speak to aren't struggling, on paper they're achieving, leading, building, and getting things done, but underneath the busyness, the packed calendars, and the relentless drive can lie an exhaustion that even holidays or a break won't fix, because your mind still doesn't stop, the overthinking continues, and the broken sleep carries on.
That's not always a workload problem. Sometimes it's a root cause problem, many of our deepest beliefs about whether we are enough, whether it is safe to rest, whether we have to earn our place in the room, are formed early in life.
We consciously choose them, but because we absorb them. And until someone helps you see the pattern, you can keep mistaking it for your personality, as well as attracting that same energy your body remembers.
This is the work we do at BECI Transformations. We help people look beneath the surface, understand the patterns running their reactions without reliving them, helping them understand themselves and feel happy again.
The question isn't whether you have patterns running beneath the surface, because everyone does, the question is whether yours are working for you, or quietly working against everything you're trying to build.

Are you the strong woman who everyone else sees as capable, confident and holding it all together?
But do you recognise that voice, the one that quietly tells you that you are not good enough, that you got lucky, and sooner or later someone is going to figure that out?
That is not the truth, it is self-doubt, and it is one of the most common patterns we see in people who are genuinely capable.
Here is the thing though, self-doubt has nothing to do with your ability or your achievements.
It comes from a belief that got formed a long time ago, usually in childhood, before you had the tools or the understanding to challenge it.
And because nobody ever helped you go back and change it at the root, it just kept running in the background ever since.
Positive thinking does not touch it, affirmations do not shift it, and pushing harder does not make it go away.
Real empowerment means going to where that belief started and changing it from the inside, not reliving it, not managing it, but shifting it.
And when it changes, the way you see yourself changes with it, life becomes happier, your self-esteem rises and your confidence grows.
What we do not always realise is that the little girl in all of us is still in there. She never went away. She just got quieter.

What an amazing evening last night, at our dragongroup last night.
It was wonderful to see people showing up for themselves, sharing openly, supporting one another, and gaining valuable insights.
There was a real sense of connection in the room, with plenty of reflection, learning, and a few emotional breakthroughs along the way.
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped create such a safe and supportive space.

I just wanted to come on and talk a little bit about the post I’ve put up today.
Over the last couple of days I noticed myself feeling quite flat emotionally, overthinking things, doubting myself a bit more and feeling like all them negative feelings had come back again.
And when you’re in that place, it’s easy to start thinking something’s wrong, or that you’re going backwards.
But when I actually sat with it properly and looked underneath it, I realised it wasn’t actually about anybody else, and it wasn’t that anybody had done anything wrong.
What I realised is that I was taking on everybody else’s stress, pressure and emotions around me without even realising it.
Because I’m a sensitive person and I connect deeply with people and emotions, if I don’t ground myself properly or protect my energy beforehand, I can end up carrying things that are not even mine.
And through understanding the B.E.C.I framework more, I could see what was actually happening underneath it all.
My balance had gone, my empowerment dropped, I disconnected from myself a little bit, and what I really needed was insight into what was happening internally instead of attacking myself for feeling it.
So I just wanted to share that because I know a lot of people experience this and think there’s something wrong with them, when really sometimes your nervous system is just overloaded and responding to everything around you.if you feel like this, me and charlie can help .
I recorded this video three months ago, but I was too embarrassed to post it.
Not because the message was wrong, but because I did not feel confident enough to be seen.
Self-doubt overthinking, fear of judgement, old protective patterns quietly keeping me small.
Over the past few months through doing my own Human Change Therapy work, I have realised that version of me was operating from old conditioning not from who I truly am.
So I am posting this now.
Not because fear has completely disappeared but because I am no longer letting it make my decisions.
If you have ever held yourself back doubted your voice, or felt like something inside keeps stopping you, please know things can change.
Sometimes the most powerful transformation is simply becoming the person who posts the video anyway.

Are you one of those people who do not realise that stress is not always about having too much on?
Do you sometimes lose your patience quicker than normal?

sometimes its Balance that is missing, when your nervous system is carrying too much pressure, leaving you overwhelmed, reactive, mentally exhausted, or unable to properly switch off.
Sometimes its Empowerment, where protective patterns have taken over, showing up as procrastination, people pleasing, avoidance, self-doubt, or feeling like you know you need to move forward, but something keeps stopping you.
Sometimes it is Connection, where stress starts affecting communication, relationships, confidence, and your connection with yourself, leaving you withdrawn, frustrated, misunderstood, or struggling to express what is really going on.
And sometimes whats really needed, is Insight because when you do not fully understand the pattern, you stay stuck repeating it.
This is why BECI is not just a name. It’s a framework that helps people understand what is really happening inside, so they can create real and lasting change.
