It's Men’s Mental Health Week 💛

There’s still a stigma around men talking about how they feel but that’s something we all need to keep changing.

Talking openly, checking in with each other, and being part of a supportive community can make a real difference.

Another great day out on the canal for a litter pick with the Canal & River Trust 💚

Great to be helping keep our local waterways clean and looking after these calm, green spaces that everyone can enjoy.

It’s amazing how much better things feel when they’re well looked after perfect for walks, fresh air, and a bit of headspace.

Bonus highlight… spotting a family of swans along the way 🦢

🌱 When two worlds collide… community garden meets community pantry 🍅🍓

We had tomato and strawberry plants available for people to take home, along with free compost and planters 🪴

A great way to encourage people to get growing at home, try something new and enjoy a bit of gardening along the way 💛

At The Indy, we believe small steps can make a big difference.

That’s why we get involved in activities like gardening, litter picks and canal work, helping improve local spaces while bringing people together 💛

Better for the environment, better for the community 🌍

Today we’ve been at the Town Hall for a volunteer event and it’s been a great one 💛

We’re really proud to say that Darren and Robert were both awarded certificates in recognition of their time, effort and commitment as volunteers with The Indy 👏👏

A big thank you as well to Volunteer Centre Sefton and Sefton Council for Voluntary Service - CVS for supporting and celebrating local volunteering across Sefton. It really does make a difference when community work is recognised like this.
