Tackling this commission piece this weekend. Beautiful bones but with an awful paint job!! I'll be stripping it back to bare and then refinishing in a rich purple and stained wood combination to match an existing piece in the customers home.

Have so many ideas in mind after the beautiful sights of Iceland, so some more pieces to follow soon :)

Chair almost finished, just the varnish layer to do

After a long break I'm back at the painting todsy. Turning a plain pine rocking chair into a painted/stained piece inspired by this gorgeous original artwork. Base layer done and drying, brighter highlights next

In the wilds of Scotland on holiday (well, honeymoon actually!), normal furniture awesomeness to resume in the next couple of weeks. Lots of gorgeous pieces waiting to go to show you all!
