We recently had the NHS come and do a pop up with us. They were doing some research with the children’s red books and gave out gift vouchers to those that got involved 🎉.

Last week we started our first ever Volunteer Mentoring session ran by Marcio.

It is a session to be able to sit, reflect, plan and equip our volunteers. Marcio did an amazing job and our volunteers came out so happy ☺️.

On Thursday we started our summer project….

We are pleased to announce our Garden Conversation drop in every Thursday over the summer ☀️🌴🎉
(Let’s hope for good weather every Thursday as we had to move indoors this week)

We played games, had some great conversations and learnt all about scones from Pete! Thank you Pete for making your homemade scones and bringing them in to share with us 😍🍓🍦

We are looking forward to the rest of summer 🎉

We sadly said goodbye to our amazing placement students Sian & Ellie from University of Liverpool 😭.

They were with us everyday for 8 weeks, helping with our services, sorting the clothes donations and serving in the shop, food bank prep, led coffee and conversation groups and helped make everyone feel welcome 🤗.

They also raised money to be able to run women’s weaving workshops and a nature walk (more pictures to follow) 🎉

Thank you so much to both of you for all you hard work and putting your all into this placement- we have absolutely loved hosting you both and you both brought so much sunshine to Bridge2 while you were here ☀️ .

Good luck for your future and we hope you come back to visit whenever you are in Liverpool ❤️

A local family have been in touch to say their children have raised £38.47 for Bridge2 by doing a lemonade stand and a mini fundraiser selling their toys! 🧸 🍋

We had the most incredible day trip to Aber Falls in North Wales last week 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿! Thank you so much to those who funded the trip ☺️.

For some it was their first time going to Wales, some experienced the countryside for the first time and others saw a waterfall in this part of the world for the first time ❤️

We got a minibus there and back, hiked up to the waterfall and finished the day off with a delicious picnic 🧺 together. Thank you to all those who came and our funders for such an amazing opportunity 🎉
