Beechley Stables Riding for the Disabled Group is based in Allerton, Liverpool. We provide fun and therapy for disabled children and adults.

Beechley Stables RDA is part of the National Riding for the Disabled Association. We are based in Liverpool (North West England) and provide riding lessons for disabled adults and children from the ages of 6+. Medical professionals recognise that there are significant therapeutic benefits for the rider. The warmth and three dimensional movement of the horse is transmitted through the riders body,

We're lucky to host hippotherapy sessions every Tuesday with Lucy from Spirit Hippotherapy and Physiotherapy . It's heartwarming to see the joy Austin gets from his weekly sessions. Austins' favourite pony is Rita and his favourite person is definitely Darren our resident cowboy. Thanks to Riding for the Disabled for highlighting Austins story ❤ x

Our favourite farmer has been to empty the muck heap again so the more rotted manure is available for your gardens/allotments. Please bring your own bags to fill.
Manure is free of charge but donations are always welcome 🙂

We held our first BHS Ride Safe assessment today. We're pleased to say that both girls attained their certificates. Thanks to Lindsay Gaven for your assistance and for trusting us with your clients. Our horses, Holly and Rita were very well behaved on the roads and thanks to the courteous drivers we met along the way.
Ride Safe is part of the BHS challenge awards and can be done as a stand alone certificate. It is also a must have for those progressing through the BHS Career pathway.
Pls email [email protected] if you are interested in future courses.

We really appreciate receiving feedback on our RDA and fundraising activities. Our two staff are supported by a team of volunteers who make it all happen. Keep an eye on our FB for our Summer Fundraising programme. Next event is the Harthill Road Festival Open Day Saturday 20th June 11am to 4pm.

Sadly, we are hearing of a rise in Equine Flu and Strangles cases at the moment. Both of these Equine diseases are highly contagious.
To protect our own horses, we ask that anyone who has visited a yard with active or suspected cases do not visit our yard.
As a general rule, we ask that anyone attending other yards change clothes and ensure boots, hats, gloves etc are cleaned thoroughly before attending Beechley.
We will have disinfectant buckets by the entrance gateway as an extra precaution, please use them.
Thanks for your understanding.
