Busy start to the week , with the added annual vans to be serviced at the same time .
On the Lydiate job we have been doing the roofing works carried out and awaiting to lay the tiles to the porch roof as the supplier delivered the wrong ones, so we sorted the valleys out to the main roof and fascia / soffits all done ready for the next steps.
Window removed ready for the next part to open into the porch.
Then, on the west derby job , started the kitchen fit and problem solving the issues with the soild brick walll being 6 inches away from the metal studwork and the corners being 3 inches out of square!
But all are looking well on this one 👌 .
Now for a well deserved night off watching England open up their campaign in the World Cup with a win. Come on England.

Busy weekend getting the blockwork in on this extension. Non-stop and making progress .

Floor screeding on one side of the room all level and ready for the next side to be done after the kitchen fit.
This job has been squeezed in after the clients floor layer said he wasn't able to do the screeding as it needs a concrete specialist to carry out this work! (So basically, he wasn't able to work out how to do this as self leveller alone wouldn't have worked !)
This is where i helped the clients out as the kitchen is due for delivery this monday, and the kitchen side needed to be levelled ready for me to carry out tge fit, and lucky enough, i love a challenge!
This skill was learned when I served a proper apprenticeship in plastering the right way ... solid plastering, rendering, damp courses , screeding (not self leveller) , plaster Paris , floating out and tiling .
