Build FREEDOM, not burnout. I help you break free from the 9–5 System. Prioritise health. Reclaim time. Earn online. Because life’s too short to stay stuck!
Slightly vulnerable day in the life, a lot of sitting & introspection… not much work or fun & games today (sharing the reality) felt a little annoyed with myself but knowing that rest is needed.. & I shouldn’t be so hard on myself!

Hi 👋 if you’re new here I’m Laura 🙂 a year ago I walked away from my 9-5 desk job for the second time in 4 years
the first time burnout forced me out. then I went back. then chronic illness, and losing many people too young close to me made me realise I couldn’t keep trading the only life I have for a payslip until I’m 67
so I built an affiliate business in health and wellness from scratch where I can work from anywhere, around my life, on my terms and now I’m working towards making the move to Thailand permanently 🇹🇭
I now help women in their 30s & 40s quit the mundane office life, leave the burnout behind & start building a life they’re excited to wake up to again & not left with regrets on their deathbed 🔥
if this is a vision you have too & you’ve been holding back, follow along, maybe my journey will inspire you to take that first step.. & know what else is possible for your life 🫶

They want a nation of workers not thinkers - as John D Rockerfella
second half of my walking rambles after my nervous system was overloaded & got outside .. the other part 1 was mainly about ADHD diagnosis
the education system & traditional workplace environments can be a big part of the problem in themselves, the minute I left the workplace & started my own online business, so many of my skills, authenticity & talents came to the surface. I could be more myself. I wasn’t trying to fit into a box or masking.
Being able to change my environment, move around, dance, pace & get outside more helped massively compared to the overstimulation (or even understimulation) of the classroom & office environment. Move with what ideas got me excited.
The minute I get outside, like away from the noise, clarity comes. The ideas come. Everything just felt better.
I genuinely think I got more work done on that walk 😅 than I’d managed all week sitting at my desk.
Please add any of your thoughts…

I’m not saying ADHD isn’t a thing. I have clients that are neurodivergent. I used to work in education & have done training in this area, so I understand it is a neurological condition & that for many people, receiving a diagnosis can be validating & helpful.
Ive been recommended to get a proper diagnosis myself, I’ve always scored at the top of being likely ADHD on assessments & relate to a lot of the traits
What I’m wondering is whether we sometimes put too much focus (this is for the older us not kids ) on getting the diagnosis, thinking that might solve everything
But another perspective could be... what if we were to look more at our lives & the way we are living & working & question whether this is really working for us?
Are we just not doing enough of the more human things? Are we doing things cause the system told us we “should” do them this way?

Just some thoughts & rambles that came up on a walk that I really needed after months of feeling like my nervous system had been overloaded.

Would love to know your thoughts on this one
