Studio 256 Design

This week at Studio 256, we’re celebrating the planning submission for 290 new homes off Vauxhall Road. The site formerly home to the Our Lady of Reconciliation Primary School has been vacant since 2012 and we are thrilled to be part of the team bringing it back to life.
The project will deliver a mix of 1, 2, and 3-bedroom apartments across six blocks, designed to sit comfortably within the local context while contributing to the strategic regeneration of the area.
It’s great to be working again with the team at to bring this vision to life for our client, Brack Construction.
Exciting times ahead for this area of Liverpool!

A busy start to the year at Studio 265! Our Cheapside development is well underway and we can’t wait to share what’s next.

Exciting news! The Studio 256 team have been working with Brack Construction on a submission for a high-quality, six-storey residential building in the Pumpfields and Limekilns regeneration area, alongside . The scheme includes 85 residential units and features a carefully considered architectural approach that harmonies with its surroundings in scale and materiality, referencing local vernacular with a contemporary touch. As we move into the planning process, we are confident that the project’s positive contribution to the area’s ongoing regeneration will be recognised and supported.

Happy Friday from the Archiphonic team! There has been fantastic progress on site of our new-build house in Ormskirk. SIP frame up and complete in under three weeks, on track for final completion at the beginning of August.

We hope everyone had a lovely bank holiday weekend from the Archiphonic team! Our New Chester Road project is currently under construction on site. The new residential building comprises of 8no. apartments with a mix of studios, one and two bed flats. We look forward to seeing the completed project and the positive impact brought to the area through this design.

Opening night of Manoeuvres & Boutique 56

Fantastic evening at the Liverpool Hospitality awards last night. Myself and the team want to say congratulations to Peter and Allan on receiving their unsung hero award, for their great work in the community and throughout the city. Many thanks for the invite and we all look forward to working alongside you both, progressing current and future projects.

The team enjoyed an informative CPD from this morning talking through the changes to Part L. It was an interesting discussion which also touched on the new Part O - overheating standard and the greater emphasis of electric vehicle charging points.

We feel it's a great move towards net zero and sustainable targets, and we're interested to see how these standards are implemented.

At Archiphonic we work collaboratively to produce fully considered schemes. Each Thursday the team come together and actively participate in design reviews, discussing alternative options and solutions for current and future projects. The team greatly benefit from this opportunity and the additional insight other team members bring to the table.

Happy Monday from the Archiphonic team! We are now one month away from practical completion on our Passivhaus project. The whole team have thoroughly enjoyed working to design the dwelling within passivhaus standards to achieve certification. We are proud to have taken this project from concept through to completion and we are excited to see the finishing touches coming together.
