We’ve also got the very funny Adam Rohan on Wednesday!
Adam is an unapologetically gay comedian from north west. His over the top personality mixed with his absolutely feral stories leaves an audience shocked but also wanting more. Adam has most recently took part in New LGBTQ+ comedian of the year where he just missed out on a place in the semi final. Adam’s next challenge is the So You Think You’re Funny Competition next month.

“If this is what he looks like after six months, then in a years’ time, he could well be quite formidable” - Nottingham Comedy Review

So lucky to have the great Phil Ellis with us next week!
Phil Ellis is an award-winning comedian who has entertained audiences of all ages with his amalgamation of off-beat observational material and physical comedy.
Phil won the Fosters Edinburgh Comedy Award’s panel prize in 2014 with his undisputed anarchic sleeper hit of a show Funz and Gamez. After meeting incredible critical acclaim, Funz and Gamez was broadcast as part of Fresh from the Fest (BBC Radio 4), as well as part of BBC Comedy Feeds (BBC Three). The show went on to have an 18-show run at the Soho theatre as well as a further run at the Udderbelly on Southbank.
Phil has written and starred in three series of his radio sitcom Phil Ellis is Trying (BBC Radio 4), with cast including Lolly Adefope, Johnny Vegas, Sean Lock and Lee Mack. The second series was nominated for Best Scripted Comedy (Longform) in the BBC Audio Drama Awards 2020.
Phil’s TV appearances include Roast Battle (Comedy Central), The Tez Show (Channel 4), The Russell Howard Hour (Sky) and Drunk History: UK (Comedy Central), as well as writing and performing credits on The Tapeface Tapes (BBC Three).

Our headliner for this evening is the very funny Sian Davies!
Sian Davies is a comedian, MC, presenter and writer from the North West of England. Her droll, widely relatable, observational material puts an insightful spin on the everyday.
She regularly performs at theatres, festivals and comedy clubs across the UK and is the driving force behind sell out fringe phenomenon’s Best in Class and Comedy Qu**rs.
A real crowd pleaser; just as relaxed in an intimate comedy club, festival stage or huge theatre. She effortlessly combines razor sharp wit with true life stories to enthral audiences.
Sian won the award for Best Debut Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 2020, was runner up in the Funny Women Stage Award in 2019 and winner of Hilarity Bites Best New Act in 2018.
As a recipient of The Hive mentorship award from Greater Manchester Fringe, Sian was able to develop her first solo stand-up show. In 2021 Sian was selected through the Open Call scheme to be part of the re-opening program at Unity Theatre, Liverpool.
She is working class and q***r, and fiercely proud of belonging to both communities.

Our first ever Have A Go Hero spot (since Alex took over!) is Steph Leese & we’re so happy she’ll be popping her comedy cherry with us tomorrow!
Steph is a 46 year old female plasterer by day and serial tea drinker by night.
She started her plastering business 15 years ago from the back of a rover 25 and hasn't looked back since. She's a keen entertainer of her family (whether they want to be entertained or not) and has always wanted to take her humour to the stage - tonight will be her first soirée into performing in front of people not related to her and hopes it won't be the last! Her humour is derived from real life experiences at work and home so customers and family beware!

Joining us on Wednesday is the wonderful Peter Edge!
Peter has been doing stand up comedy since completing a course with the Liverpool Comedy Trust just over three years ago. Since then he’s gigged all over the country, from Leeds to Llanelli, from Barrow to Bristol….and beyond, sharing the stage with many top acts, and entertaining audiences with his ‘embattled Dad of daughters’ humour.
He’s promoted, run and MC’d professional comedy gigs at a number of venues in the North West.
He’s won a number of comedy competitions, survived every ‘gong’ show he’s ever entered, and In early April 2022 won the Funhouse Champions’ Gong, competing against eight other finalists.
A more mature comedian, he’s been commended for his “very clever writing” (Notts Comedy Review) and described as “definitely one to see before he dies”.
