Never leave your dog alone in a hot car, even with the windows open. Cars heat up fast and pets feel it more than we do.

🌡️ Not sure if your pet needs a vet for heatstroke or dehydration? Ask VidiVet any time.

Send us a video showing their behaviour and gum colour, plus any symptoms, age or health concerns, and one of our vets will get back to you within minutes with next steps and how urgent it is.

Peace of mind, whenever you need it. 🩺

Today, on Veterinary Appreciation Day, we're celebrating the incredible vets who make VidiVet what it is.

Ben Sweeney, Sarah Holmes, Luisa Hobbs and Nick Jackson share what being part of VidiVet means to them. As Ben puts it, it's a privilege to work alongside such a talented, passionate and committed team. Every day, our vets bring their knowledge, empathy and expertise to support pets, pet owners and practices across the UK.

We’re proud of our exceptional team of vets, and we're proud to support all of the amazing in-practice teams through VidiVet every day.

To all of you on Veterinary Appreciation Day: we appreciate you.

We have some exciting news to share with our partner practices - and Ben wanted to tell you himself. 🧡

The CMA's new Order comes into force on 23 September 2026. Every veterinary practice in the UK will need a written impartial advice policy in place. We know that is one more thing landing on already busy teams, and we want to make it as straightforward as possible for you.
So today we are launching something we are really proud of: the VidiVet Impartial Advice Guaranteed initiative.

It is designed to do two things: help you meet the CMA requirements with confidence, and give your clients an independent advice layer that further strengthens trust in your practice.

As part of joining, we will help write your impartial advice policy for you - because being a vet led organisation, we get the pressure you’re under.

200+ clinics are already on board. We would love for you to be next.

Happy Hug Your Cat Day! 🐱💕

Before you go in for that cuddle, here's your official guide to the petting sweet spots (and the danger zones 🚫).

✅ Yes please: Chin, cheeks, base of ears, and along the back
❌ Proceed with caution: Belly and tail area — unless your cat is one of the rare unicorns who actually loves it

Remember that every cat is different, so learn your furry friend's preferences and watch for those telltale signs: slow blinks = love, twitching tail = time to back off.

Have some cat questions of your own? 💬 The VidiVet app is available 24/7, to answer any questions or concerns you have leading up to their next vet visit. 💬
