True Heroes Racing
Supporting Active and Inactive, Wounded, Injured & Sick UK Service Personnel and Veterans. Engage, Empower, Inspire. More than just a race team!
True Heroes Racing is the brain child of a serving member of the Royal Navy who has been lucky enough to return from several Tours of Duty in Afghanistan uninjured. After working with a large number of injured UK Service personnel on motorsport charity events it was decided to try and use competitive motorsport as a way of restoring a sense of direction and focus for our injured UK Service personnel and in 2012 “True Heroes Racing” was formed.

A slightly delayed Knockhill update… we’ve all been recovering from the long trek up to Scotland.
What a weekend of two halves at Knockhill Racing Circuit. We arrived to torrential downpours that had us wondering whether we needed wets… or kayaks. But by the end of the weekend, the beautiful Scottish sunshine made it all worthwhile.
From a team perspective, everyone grafted hard to get to grips with a circuit none of the riders had seen before.
#89 Paul in the Superstock had an unfortunate off in free practice but bounced back brilliantly, dug deep all weekend and brought it home P20 on Sunday.
#34 Kenny, racing on his home turf (even if he’s only raced there once before), had an outstanding run with P2 in qualifying, P2 in the heat race and was heading for a superb P4 in the main race before a late off ended his charge.
#50 Leon continued his steady progress, putting in strong lap times and fighting through the Last Chance Qualifier to finish the weekend in the main race.
#812 Chris, also new to Knockhill, missed out on the main race by the tiniest of margins but still smashed his PB by the end of the weekend.
And to the Scottish fans, what a welcome. We haven’t been to Knockhill since 2017 and you reminded us exactly why we need to come back more often. We’ll definitely be returning next year.

A massive Happy Birthday to our Founder and Team Principal, Phil.
Another year older, another year wiser… allegedly. What we can confirm is that Phil will be celebrating the only way he knows how, demolishing any duff within a 10‑mile radius.
Have a brilliant day, Phil. Thanks for keeping the wheels turning, the spirits high and the pudding supplies permanently under threat.

Good morning from a sunny Knockhill Racing Circuit. We are out for Superstock Qualifying with #89 Paul. I am pleased to report that #44 Charlie is recovering well and is here with the team supporting his team mate.
If you are on site, come and see us. We are near the hair pin end of the circuit.

What a performance from #34 Kenny MacLeod, bringing home an incredible P2 in the F900RR Rokit Off BMW Cup. It’s his local circuit, however today was his second ever time riding here, a seriously impressive achievement.
#50 Leon Wilton put in a brilliant ride too, making big improvements on his Free Practice times. Even more impressive considering it’s his first time ever riding at Knockhill.
#812 Chris Duggan, in only his second British Superbikes weekend, delivered a great qualifying session and continues to build confidence with every outing.
A huge shoutout to the whole team, who worked tirelessly to get all three bikes out on track, even with a curveball after an unfortunate off for a rider from another team which meant all three bikes appeared in the pit lane at the same time.
We’re proud of today’s progress and now look forward to the heat races tomorrow.

Paul Cunvin #89 had a little chat with the gravel today after clipping the second curb through the chicane, which meant the team got busy with some serious cleaning. Paul is fine. Big thanks to FUCHS Silkolene for keeping us stocked with the good stuff to get the bike shining again.

True Heroes Racing has landed at a very wet Knockhill Racing Circuit but the energy is sky‑high. The rain won’t stop us — we’re ready for a brilliant weekend of racing and can’t wait to see everyone trackside.
