Rachel had her composite bonding completed with Dr Liv Schorah four years ago.

Composite bonding is a big investment in yourself, so looking after it properly is just as important as the treatment itself. Rachel keeps on top of her recommended annual composite maintenance, alongside regular hygiene visits, helping to protect both the appearance of her bonding and the health of her smile.

Annual composite maintenance allows us to carefully check the condition of the bonding, assess the surrounding teeth and gums, polish away staining and refresh the surface to help keep everything looking smooth, glossy and natural.

Alongside this, regular hygiene care helps maintain healthy gums and removes plaque, calculus and staining from around the teeth and bonding, an important part of keeping the whole smile healthy.

Bleeding when brushing or cleaning between your teeth? Don’t be tempted to avoid the area. Bleeding can be a sign that your gums need a little more attention.

Think of your gums as the foundations of your smile, healthy foundations help support healthy teeth. 🏠🦷

And you don’t need a £400 toothbrush to look after them! 😉

Good brushing technique, cleaning between your teeth with the right sized interdental brushes or floss, and most importantly, doing it consistently, are what really matter.

Small changes, a completely transformed smile 🦷

This patient came to Dr Liv wanting to improve the shape of their teeth and the spacing between them.

Their smile journey included:
✨ Consultation and treatment planning
✨ Around 2 weeks for bespoke whitening trays to be made
✨ 2 to 3 weeks of professional whitening at home
✨ 10 days of rest before beginning the bonding
✨ Upper composite bonding, approximately 4.5 hours
✨ Lower composite bonding, approximately 2.5 hours
✨ A review a few weeks later to collect their retainer, with any final polishing and adjustments completed

After an incredible 30 years, we’re saying a very fond farewell to our wonderful postman, Phil!

We’ve absolutely loved seeing his friendly face every day, and he’s become such a familiar part of life here at Enhance Dental. It certainly won’t be the same without him popping in!
