There are some places people keep recommending and was one of them. Sitting just off the main streets in Leeds city centre, it’s super easy to get to on foot from pretty much anywhere and honestly, it lives up to the hype. We had some of the best Chinese food we’ve eaten in Leeds here.
We ordered:
• Minced Chicken Pan-Fried Dumplings
• Crispy Deep-Fried Pork in Sweet Vinegar Sauce
• Egg Fried Rice
• Kung Pao Chicken
• Dan Dan Noodles
• Salt & Pepper Chicken
• Stir-Fried Beef Noodles
• Pork Xiao Long Bao
• Slow-Cooked Beef Brisket in Curry Sauce
The atmosphere was great and the staff were genuinely friendly. It’s regularly busy, we’ve been back since and were lucky to get a table, which is always a good sign.
We first went as a little celebration before our wedding with a friend and it really felt like one. Every dish landed but the Xiao Long Bao and Dan Dan noodles were definite standouts. It’s one of those places you leave already planning your next visit.
2 tuk tuks, a long-tail boat and dinner… all for £11 🌴🚤
Staying on Coconut Island meant this was our journey to dinner most nights.
We’re heading back this year and honestly cannot wait ✨
