I need to tell you about a session that still lives in my head.

A founder walked in with a world-changing idea and absolutely no brand to carry it. Head full of fireworks, all going off at once.

She rated herself a 3 out of 10 before we started. Two hours later, an 8. Her words.

We didn’t talk about logos and colours. We mapped her entire business ecosystem, found customer segments she didn’t even know existed, I challenged her on her business name (she wasn’t thrilled about that, but she heard me) and built brand values by pushing her until she hit the thing she’d actually fight for.

I asked her about her future vision and she cried. Not sad tears, the kind that come when you finally say out loud the thing you’ve been carrying quietly for months.

That’s the work.

Not decoration, not making things pretty, but helping someone see what they’ve got and giving them a path to build it properly.

This is my view today
InDesign open. Pantone swatches out. Birthday flowers still going strong. And a rebrand on screen that I’m already incredibly proud of.

Today’s client is a leader. An expert in her field who’s done playing small and is ready for the world to see who she actually is.

This is what happens when someone gets it. When they understand that a credible, energetically aligned brand isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s the thing that carries their authority into every room they’re not in yet

I shine. They shine. I’m just loving shiny people.

What can I say. Days like this remind me why I do what I do. Getting to create something meaningful, surrounded by beautiful flowers and doing work that genuinely lights me up from the inside out.

How lucky am I?

Can we just talk about the glamour of running a business for a second?

One minute before a client session today, my laptop decided to disconnect everything. Bluetooth gone. Screen playing silly beggars. One. Minute. Before.
(I just slid my other laptop in front of it like nothing happened. Smooth operator over here.)

But the session itself?
Absolutely brilliant.

Delivered a Legacy Roadmap for a client building something brand new. We mapped the whole thing out. Strategy, offers, a full product ecosystem. The works.

And there was that moment. The one where you can see someone’s full potential clicking into place and it just lights you up from the inside out.
I love my job. Even when the tech is trying to ruin my day!

Seriously, I’m going to have to start wearing shades on my sessions!

Today’s client session was one of those quiet, powerful ones.

There was a moment where something landed and you could feel it.

The energy shifted.

They literally lit up from one inside out.

Their presence softened and strengthened at the same time.

The brand stopped being something they were presenting and became something they were inhabiting.

This is the part of the work that matters most to me.

Not surface polish.

Not making things look better.

But helping someone feel at home in their brand again.

When that happens, everything downstream changes.

How they speak about their work.

How they show up.

How confidently they lead with it.

I will share more about this session tomorrow, because it beautifully captures what real brand alignment actually looks like.

I couldn’t be happier right now, unless I was writing this from the Maldives!
